I don't know if smartpls can deal with weighted data.

If can't, I really hope that you can add this function.

I would like this feature added as well.
Many thanks,

I agree: weighting data would be very useful.

Please add ability to deal with weighted data

This is a critical feature as much survey and social sciences data requires weighting.

Yes I agree this would be a very important feature from a practitioner perspective ad well.

Most definitely, particularly for multinational research or for applications in categories where you have to oversample to capture a particular specialty (e.g. physicians)

I agree. This feature is crucial for the usefullness of SmartPLS

Kind regards

I've received a suggestion from a reviewer to either use weights or to split the same (which is already not too large). I would really appreciate weighing in smartPLS.

Does anyone has some good references about this topic??

I agree that this would be a very useful addition. The ability to handle weighted data is critical for many research projects in the social sciences.

We are working on this topic and we have a preliminary version running for the PLS algorithm. However, it gets complicated in combination with some of the other algorithms and we do not want to release it in a premature stage,

Really would support the use of weighting of cases. Most studies I do require weights...

Thanks for working on it. Please let us know when it is ready! I can use it now.
