q² effect strenght

I know it is currently not possible but since this is the req. feature forum, why not ask for it, I thought ;)

Getting the Q² is definetly a help but calculating q² effect strength by hand (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3376) is a bugger. Having a feature implemented that does it would be really helpful (and I guess also increase usage of this metric)

Dear All

Just to check, even in PLS 3.0, q square is calculated manually right?

We need to take out one by one and calculate the effect size of Q square, am I right?

Thanks!

Hi,

f^2 and q^2 will produce the same conclusion, if the value of f^2 great (e.g> 0.05, then the value of q^2 will also be greater than 0).

Best regards,
