HOC - "construct fit"

Post by Stef »

Hello all,
I have a question concerning a HOC. In my model, I have a second-order-construct in a reflective-reflective mode and using the repeated indicators approach. Is it possible and neccessary (in smartPLS) to run and report a second-order confirmation factory analysis to show the fit of the structure of the second-order-construct? If yes, how may I do it? If no, are there other procedures I should do and report?

Thank you very much for your help!

Usually, you report the same criteria for HOC than for normal constructs in PLS.
As standard PLS does not offer global fit measures, you usally on assess Cronbachs Alpha, Composite Reliability, and AVE.
