Data manipulations

1) The smartPLS data file is fixed. Often one need to calculate/add some new indicators, make a transformation etc. Now one has to do this outside smartPLS and create a new project. This could be solved by having a data editor, or better detach data from calculations, like in most programs like SPSS, SAS.
2) Select cases: A possibility to do subgroup analysis: An option "select cases" with a full Boolean algebra in the selection.
3) Data import from popular formats like .sav SPSS, EXCEL. This would also ease the trouble with point 1 and 2.

Thanks!
@1: Sounds good and is on our list. However, this requires a data editor and some substantial extensions. This may take some time.

@2: Already implemented (I guess): double click on the dataset and use the "add" or "generate" data groups options. After generating groups, you can select their group specific model estimation (there is a new folder "data groups" when starting an algorithm).

@3: Good point, on our list!

Best,
Christian
