SmartPls should add feature of power analysis to calculate sample size before collecting data.

It's a good idea, such as Stata software.

I think it is better to use a specialized software such as GPower (or R packages) for power analysis. They already provide all the necessary tests and are free of charge. In addition, GPower is quite intuitive.
A general problem with power analysis is the need for quite some difficult decisions. Especially the expected effect size if often not very easy to determine. GPower for example has many feature that help you determine the appropriate effect size.
Thus, we are not planning to add such a feature in the near future, but focus on the analysis part of path models.
