I am learning PLS using book "A Primer on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, 2014"...
during formative measurement model, I came across to "redundancy analyse" for assessing convergent validity. in a reference I was reading, redundancy" is achieved by correlating each formative construct with a global measure for that construct. The construct is modeled as the independent variable and the global measure is the dependent variable. A path coefficient above the threshold of 0.80 provides support for convergent validity of the formative construct"
..I am wondering how I can get "global measure" for a construct to test?
