.txt file

The interactive tutorial tells me that I should import only.csv files. However, I have been exporting from Excel into .txt (tab delimited) files and have been importing the .txt files into SmartPLS. However, in SmartPLS once i click on the datafile, I get to see only 10 rows under "contents of file". Is this normal?

The contents of file window is just a preview limited to 10 rows; it gives you an idea how the data is imported to the project.
