SmartPLS is installed but start up icon is missing

Dear all

My problem is:

There is Java 7 in my computer. Is this the reason why I couldn't start up my SmartPLS direct from the Program List? From Start - All program - SmartPLS - only have two options 1. Uninstall 2. website. Every time I want to open my SmrtPLS, I have to download it then the software will start with my workspace and projects.

Do I have to install Java 6 to encounter this problem?

Dear all

Have tried to download the Java RE6 update 29 but seems unsuccessful. Message appeared that my pc is incompatible with it. Kindly need anyone's help...
