Reflective-Reflective endogenous second order constructs

Post by lih »

Hi expert,

I have one Reflective-Reflective construct, and it is endogenous.Should I use repeated indicators approach or two-way approach to test the second order constructs?

Thanks!

Hi,

Repeated better than two stage.

Hi,

I've learned from others that if an contruct is endogenous, then repeated indexs will lead to multicollinearity. Is it really?

Hello.

I agree with the above reply.

Repeated indicator approach is more appropriate for reflective-reflective type model and use Mode A for hierarchical LV.
Multicollinearity may arise if it has reflectively measured constructs because the constructs themselves have correlated relationships among indicators, that is, in repeated indicators approach, redundant indicators are usually used.

Please it would be nice if you provide references for your arguments. BR
