Data import - pathmodel goes missing

Post by sariannelehto »

Hi all,

I am trying to build my first PLS model. I was following the instruction videos (thanks for those!), and it was all very smooth until data import. After importing indicator data in csv-format and clicking "use data for calculation" on this newly imported file, the "circles" that used to be blue in the model turn red, and I lose the pathmodel I ran earlier (aka the values). The values also disappear from the text file. As a result I get an error message: "There must be a valid pathmodel for calculation", and thus I cannot proceed.

What am I doing wrong? I greatly aprpeciate all the help!

it is similar problem with my data. Initially, I put my data of 250 sample at my excel and saved it as txt and csv.

However, after imported data from txt or csv, I noticed that my observed data become 9. i validated it and it was still 9 sample. What happens?
Thanks

Hi,

Save your data set in format 2003. If more than it, make this problem OK.

Hi,

If you already save in csv format 2003, but not work, it's means your data set is problem (red colour). You must check data set again such, blank, missing, same name etc OK.

Thanks, Mr Latan. I convert with Ms 2003.
The validation is working. It is not black anymore.
But that were only 10 row came up.
