Hello there...

I just want to know either we can use categorical variable in our DV and continuous/categorical in IV then test the relationship with smartPLS..is it possible?

No,
PLS need new algorithm for handle DV Categorical similar with Logistic regression etc.

In my research, DV is formative and includes 8 items all of which are categorical. In this case, can I use PLS?
