Workspace in use error message

Workspace in use error message

This is probably a ridiculously simple question, so I apologize in advance, as I'm new to using SmartPLS. When I try to open SmartPLS, the Workspace Launcher pop-up shows up, asking me to "select a workspace" and shows a preselected workspace folder for my files. When I click "ok" (or even after I create a subfolder under "workspace" to avoid the following error message), I get the message "Workspace in use, choose a different one." I have restarted my computer a few times, so SmartPLS would not be running when this message comes up. How can I resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

After open SmartPLS software, click browse and click workspace directory and click OK.
