Hello,

For test multigroup using SmartPLS, used Non-parametric approach with bootstrap sample (5.000) or Smith Saterwaite Test.

Salam Pak Hengky,

I have more than 2 groups that will be compared. I don't think smartPLS can be used to do multigroup comparison for more than group. I also tried XLStat, however, it seems this program also does not allow us to do multigroup comparison for more than 2 groups. Hence any ideas what program can be used? I

Thanks

Halo Ibu Ananda,

For compare more than 2 groups used OTG approach.
See:
Sarstedt, M., Henseler, J., and Ringle, C.M. 2011. “Multigroup Analysis in Partial Least Squares (PLS) Path Modeling: Alternative Methods and Empirical Result,” Advances in International Merketing (22:1), 195-218.

Sarstedt et al. (2011) compare three groups (France, Germany and USA).
But btw, this approach difficult.

Best Regards,
Hengky

Multi-group analysis: OTG vs. Kruskall Wallis Test

Dear PLS community,

in order to run a comparison of more than two subgrups, OTG is recommended. However you also could use the bootstrapping outcomes for a Kruskal-Wallis test in SPSS for examples.

Are there any concerns about such a procedure?

Or why is OTG better?

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Best, Barbara

Where are the results for OTG in SmartPlS

Hello James,

SmartPLS cannot handle OTG, used R program.
