Outer loadings or Outer weights

Hi,

We were successful in executing the SmartPLS. Now our interest is to calculate the impact (total effect) of manifest variable on the ultimate dependent latent variable. So, which of the one outerloadings or outer weights to be used. Also is there any option that will automatically display the same? answer to query will be of great help.

Hi,

use outer weight. There are also total effects on the latent variable level in the report.
