hii

i have only one latent with formative indicators. how can i validate this LV ?

with one LV pls will not run.

Hi,
- content validity (with experts)
- predictive validity (this LV should explain the variance of other LV)
- nomological validity (Is this LV correlated with others in the way that is expected?).

Hi,
if indicators were reflective, you could run a principal component analysis and asses the variance extracted, factor loadings...
But, with just one formative LV, I don't see a way to compute the weights.

Hi, can I verify driscriminant validity of a formative second order construct?
Can I calculate AVE?
