Problem starting SmartPLs : JVM terminated. Exit code=1

I am trying to run SmartPls with Windows 7. It run once but then it failed to run and windows opens up wuth several line. The first line says:
JVM terminated. Exit code=1

I appreciate your help.

I forgot to mention that I am running windows 7 on a 64 bits machine.

The same problem here... I used to open and work with it fine. I don't know what happened (maybe a Java update?), but it is not working now. I get the same error message...

OS: Windows 7, 64-bit

Any help is appreciated...

I'm using Windows 7 x 64 with no problem.

Try install a new version of Java since SmartPLS runs based on eclipse/java environment

SmartPLS Version 1 worked on my computer just fine, but when I updated to Verson 2 it no longer works. I get the same "JVM terminated. Exit code=1" that everyone mentions here. Is there anyway to reinstall the old version while waiting for a solution to this problem?

BTW, I already uploaded the newest version of Jave.
