pls path modelling

hi!!
in pls path modelling, we can use OLS (ordinary least squares) or PLS (partial least squares) regression for estimating the coefficients.
is it necessary to check the coefficient's significativity (t stat) when we use PLS regression ?

i will accept any comments and thanks!!!!

Hi Viviane,
usually the t-value (or p-value or **) is used to inform if that coefficient will be different from zero in the population (inference).
Best regards.
