cross validation

cross validation

We got a data which has five dependent variables, five independent variables and eight observations. We tried to use the PLS to fit a model. When we did the cross validation, we got zero minimizaed factor. What kind of possible resons for this output? Thank you very much.
I am happy to find this forum, because I am doing some research on the partial least square. I hope I will get some help.

Hi Rachid,
Your model has 10 variables and 8 cases.
This variables are used as indicators of some Latente variable?
Is it a kind of experimental data? (impossible to get more data)
If was possible, try a bigger sample.
