Urgent_ V Imp_Single item use for a contruct

Hello all,

The below is the model of my research. I have used a single item measurement for the construct "Experience in international purchasing" as EIP1.
Where EIP1 = Many years of Experience in international purchasing (measured on 5 point likert scale). As represented in my survey measure. Please note my indicator variable = LV

According to Diamantopoulos et al.,2012 suggests for checking inter-item correlation and cross-item correlations for LV. But i dont have any other items to measure this LV (Experience in international purchasing) as a multi-item measure.

Can I use a single item measure for my model? If so what source i can quote to prove the point. Or else is there any other criteria that i need to check.

Please suggest. I highly appreciate anyone who can help.
