Confirmatory Factor Analysis - question!

Post by suyeon0223 »

Hi,
This is my first time using PLS for stats. I have a question. I am trying to use smartpls for confirmatory factor analysis.

When the numbers (variables) should be bigger than .7 after bootstrapping (in order to be eligible to be utilized), mines are so much bigger than .7.

In a range between 2.xx to 8.7xx... Which I think is invalid.
Do you have any idea why it came out this way? I was looking for something bigger than .7 but when it is too big of a number, I don't know if it is valid.

Your input in this will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Calculate / PLS algorithm / Data metric = Mean 0, Var 1

It is possible that you had selected "Original" option.

or

if you run the bootstrap procedure, these values are t-values
t > 1.96 are significant at 5%

Best regards,

Bido
