Mediating effects

Post by MrChristensen »

Hi SmartPLS community

I am a student writing about loyalty and for that purpose I am using SmartPLS for the statistics part. I am pretty new to the program, so I would like some help to make sure that the model is correctly set up before I move on.

The question:
My question relates to mediating effects. As you can see in the picture attached to this message, all the indicators are attached to variables, but should the indicators from the 4 variables Image, Expectation, Product Quality and Service Quality also be added to Perceived Value and again at Customer Satisfaction. So should the repeated indicator approach be used, or is the model fine as it is?

I hope you can help me, and look forward to your answers.

If you have indicators for each construct you don't need the repeated indicator approach. It is only for higher-order constructs that do not have their own indicators, but are measured by the lower-order constructs.
