Hierarchical development of a research model in SmartPLS3

Post by Lupus »

I have one question regarding the hierarchical development of a research model. Do I have to save the LVs of the final model to calculate the sub models in SmartPLS 3 and should the results in the final model be the same by using the normal items and by using the saved LVs?

Many thanks in advance for your support.

Thanks. Are you referring to the 2-stage approach of estimating hierarchical component models? In that case, things sound good. Please take a look at the appendix of this paper: http://misq.org/skin/frontend/default/m ... sV36N1.pdf
