MGAresult not showing difference in groups of interaction

Post by pallavisingh »

Hi All,

I have a problem and would really appreciate your urgent help. In my model I have 4 Ivs and 1 DV. I tested the model for interaction effect of a variable A on one path. That was not significant. Then I tested the model to check differences between groups of families with children and without children. Coded them 1= families with children, 2= families without children. The MGA result show PLSMGA for all the paths but does not include the interaction effect path in the bootstrap result. Why is that so and how can I test the difference of the effect of continuous moderator(the interaction effect) in the two data groups??
Your help will be much appreciated.
Many thanks

If your model includes an interaction effect it should also be in the multigroup analysis (MGA). If this is not the case then please open a support request and send us an example model (http://support.smartpls.com/open.php).
