My book on PLS-SEM by J. F. Hair, G. T. M. Hult, C. M. Ringle, and M. Sarstedt says at pag. 62 that "when running SmartPLS for the first time, the program will ask you to enter a product key. The product key is freely available on the smartPLS website one your account has been activated. Log on to http://smartpls.de with your username and password and clik on MY Key in the top right menu on the webpage". I couldn't activate any other account than the one for this forum, I have been asked for a product key when running SmartPLS for the first time, but I couldn't find any MY Key in the top right menu on the webpage, Can you help? Thank ypu

The first edition of the book was written before the release of SmartPLS 3.

With the release of the new SmartPLS 3 we changed the registration procedures. The new SmartPLS 3 release can be downloaded from http://www.smartpls.com/ and there are different licensing options available: https://www.smartpls.com/faq/what-are-t ... se-options

If you want to get a activation code for the old SmartPLS 2 software, please register again on http://www.smartpls.com/smartpls2
