Negative outer loadings

Hi,
Some constructs in my model have negative outer loadings, they are measured reflectively. And no, they are not reverse coded items. Why is this happening ? Do outliers or skewness may be the causes of this problem ? If I delete these items, composite reliability and AVE values are above their thresholds, but these are reflective-formative second-order constructs and I have convergent validity problems afterwards in the secon-order formative construct. Help please ?
