Mediation

Post by mehrandri »

Hi,

I am trying to test the mediation in my model. Using Hair et al (2014) mediation test is not possible because the model is formed of many independent variables (A) connecting to one Mediating variable (B) i,e, (A1,A2,A3)--> B and the mediating variable is connected to 6 dependant variable B-->(C1, C2,...,C6). Now, I would like to see if variable A1-A3 are mediated via B to effect C1-C6. should I test the mediation for each three variables separately i.e. A1-B-C1 in one test and measuring their path coefficient and T-Statistics?

I really appreciate your help.

You may want to check this article which analyses a mediated mediation:

Klarner, P./ Sarstedt, M./ Höck, M./ Ringle, C.M.: Disentangling the Effects of Team Competences, Team Adaptability, and Client Communication on the Performance of Management Consulting Teams, in: Long Range Planning (LRP), Volume 46 (2013), Issue 3, pp. 258-286. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.lrp.2013.03.001b
