Just purchased the professional license for SmartPLS 3.1.5.
when I import the data from CSV file, the data is not fully imported.
( I save the CSV data from SPSS with 23 variables and 101 response, the import it in SmartPLS.
but only 9 variables data were imported. What happened?
by the way, the data is 1 to 5 (likert scale data).
thank you very much for the suggestion!
Best regards

Re: uncompleted data import from CSV data
Hi,
If using student version or SmartPLS 2 this problem always accour. But I not know in SmartPLS professional. I think may be this is trouble with your laptop or may be your program not respond. Please try to check it again.

Re: uncompleted data import from CSV data
I guess, there is something wrong with the file you are trying to import.
At first, please download and install the latest release (3.1.6). We added more validations for the data files.
For files you already imported, there is a "Re-Analyze" button.
If there are validation errors, these will be listed.
If no errors are displayed, please open a support ticket and attach your file. We´ll then check if there is a system bug or something.

Re: uncompleted data import from CSV data
hello,
i have quite a similar problem. i created a csv out of spss and after importing it in smartpls (version 3.2.3) the indicators are messed up - totally strange MEANS and MAXs etc. I have no missings and tried the Re-Analyze button several times.
2-3 times i got the message on the left box where the indicators normally are listed: "your datafile setup ist corrupt. please open the data file and revise the setup"
Any idea what I could do (wanted to run the model this weekend :-(((!
thanks in advance

Re: uncompleted data import from CSV data
One problem could be the datasettings: is your decimal separator ("." or ",") correct? Etc.
How large is your data file? Are all rows imported?

Hi,
When you change the data SPSS (.sav) into a .csv extension you have to consider several things.
Columns, rows, decimals, variable names, data types and so on. I think this is the problem.
