SmartPLS 3

After a successful installation of SmartPLS 3, I attempted to click the shortcut icon in the desktop. Then I was prompted to the Licencing Options page. I then typed my email add and hit the activate button. Unfortunately, it did not continue. A red font note appeared as follows "System Error(RemoteAccessException)". Please suggest what will I do.

Hi Eins,
Think you need to key in your email address from your university i.e. with xxx@xxx.edu.xx. I tried other non-edu email address it didn't work i.e. same red error message you'd encountered.

Registration for SmartPLS Student is open for all kinds of email addresses. There are no limitations.

The error is somehow related to your internet connection. Please download the latest release 3.1.5. and try again. Maybe it helps to shut down your firewall during the activation.

I have made several attempts over the last three days to subscribe to the Professional licence. However, I have not received a response so far.
As a last resort I even tried getting an activation key for PLS2, but no response there either.
Can you suggest any other way to get this going?

I need to revisit my analysis that I did last year using SmartPLS2 . Unfortunately , I need to have the Pro licence as my data set has 245 observations and cannot work on the student edition of SmartPLS3

In our database I can see, that you confirmed our mails and are already using a SmartPLS 3 license now. Is your request still valid?

I have a question regarding the reporting of indirect effects in SmartPLS 3. In my results, I find negative indirect effects. Yet, each path coefficient that comprises the indirect paths is positive. How can this be? Please advise.

Apologies for the delay. I have a student edition and realising the shortcoming in number of observations I requested the Professional licence to which I did not get a response. Hence my request stands.
Just to double confirm I opened my old model and got the message that I have too many observations.
Can you please send the licence for the professional version via my registered email?

I just verified that our server already sent the professional license to your email address several times. Can you please check your spam folder? It should be an mail with an attached file 'smartpls.license'.

Are you using the latest version (3.1.6)??? There was a known bug with indirect and total effects in an earlier version.
