Measurement for DV

Post by yina yusof »

Hye good morning all PLS scholars..

I am new in PLS, previously using SPSS in data analysis. my data is secondary data, and mostly all my constructs have 1 item. i would like to ask regarding the measurement for DV (tax evasion). past studies used either one of these 3 measurements below to measure DV, and then they will check the robusnest of their model with the other 2 measurements.

1) Reported income/ True income

2) Proposed audit adjustment/ Total assets or total sales

3) Evaded income/ True income

All reported income/ proposed income/ evaded income are different figure.

My question is, if i m using PLS, how i am going to measure my DV? what shud i do? in my studies, none of past studies used PLS in their data analysis. mostly used tobit regression or ordinary least square..Or shud i used SPSS as prast studies done?

Looking forward for scholars' opinion and advice.

Hi,

For secondary data you cannot evaluation outer model, just inner model.
