Analysis methods in Smart-PLS

Hello esteemed experts,
I wonder, are SmartPLS studies more useful only for the data obtained from the survey? For example; I would like to examine the moderator effect of the legal system on the relationship between financial development and stock market performance. In this, I obtained data from the World Bank and IMF between 2000-2019. Can I do this work with this data? If I can, is there any resource on this. Thank you so much.
