Hypothesis Testing (SmartPLS 3)

Post by Hedwigga »

Hello,

I'm a newbie in using SMartPLS 3.0 (havent used SPSS too) and I am trying to test my hypothesis for my model, so use SEM PLS.

I'm currently doing assessment for reflective & structural measurement model. For reflective i managed to get reliable values (indicator reliability, composite reliability, AVE and cronbach's alpha)

For structural values:
R^2 is above average.
f^2 has several LVs with 0 value.

Q1) Can i use only R^2 for structural model assessment?

Q2) How to test hypothesis? I cannot seem to understand between t-value, p-value and beta value. Can you suggest me a good literature to read?

Thank you.

Hello

There is a lot of literature available at https://www.smartpls.com/documentation

However, the following can be of extreme help:

https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/ ... s-sem-book

https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/ ... on-pls-sem

Hair, J. F., Risher, J. J., Sarstedt, M., & Ringle, C. M. (2019). When to use and how to report the results of PLS-SEM. European Business Review, 31(1), 2-24.
