I'm wondering why there is a "designed diff-R squared" in MGA. How should I interpret the results if I got a significant differences between two groups. And are there any related literature about it, thanks.

We provide it, because some users have asked for it.
Yet, it is not part of any standard MGA analysis procedure and I'm also not aware of any published study that has reported a R² difference in an MGA.
