RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY FOR MULTI GROUP

Post by Luna »

Hi. I'm currently working on my paper which aimed to compare the behaviours of two groups of respondent . However, as I run the analysis, I got a very low of factors loading for the third variables (lower than 0.5). When I checked the factors loading for the group A, it is impressively higher (above than 0.8). Unfortunately, the factors loading for the group B is definitely negative (-0.7 to -0.9). May I know why does this situation happen? Is there any solution for my situation? Somebody, please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any reverse coding issue between the groups?
It looks like that the meaning (direction) of the construct flips between groups. This is very strange and could be a data issue.
