Moderating effect option not available to me

For some reason, I do not have the option to 'add moderating effect', even when i click on a dependent variable in a path model with just one IV and one DV. I would appreciate if someone would let me know why this is.

I am using the trial version of the latest version of SmartPLS.

For a moderation effect you need 2 IVs: the moderator and the variable which effect should be moderated.
If you have only one IV, you can only analyze nonlinear (i.e., squared) effects.
