Endogenous and Exogenous latent variable

Post by yizoubi »

I was bit confuse if only one Exogenous latent variable. For example if we have a model like this:

A--> (B, C) --> (D, E). A is formative, and the others (B, C, D, E) are all reflective. In this case do we assume that the only Exogenous is (A), or do we look at (B, C) as Exogenous to (D, E)?

(B, C) is a mediating variable, that's it.
