Professional License Key Error

Assistance Reqested.

I recently upgraded from a free student version of Smart PLS to Smart PLS Professional. I used the switch license feature in the application yesterday evening (after purchasing the professional version) and entered in the new license. I was able to utilize the software, but this morning it is giving me:

A problem occurred
License is already activated or another computer

I'm using a Macbook Pro (13", mid 2012), running macOS Catalina, Version 10.15.1.
