Re: T-statistic difference in Path Coefficient and Outer Loading

Exactly what you say: the t value of the outer loading (which usually are very high). But you should rather use the 95% bias-corrected and accelerated (BCa) bootstrap confidence intervals for significance resting (and report those results).

Your choice. What don't your revert to p < 0.05.

Re: Hair Jr. et al (2017) A primer on...edition 2e

They are not significant. But this does not mean you need to remove these items. If you read the book, you will find that you need to inspect the outer loadings next. Since they are above 0.5 you want to keep these items. In general, you may want to keep theoretically established items even though t...

Re: MICOM

Thanks! (1) You need to compare the original correlation value with the lower bound of the confidence interval. (2) The the original result is 0.996 and would be lower than 0.997 you would reject the null hypothesis of equal correlations on the 5% level. How about running more permutations (e.g. 500...

Re: Can i modify the results of my moderating effect

We strongly suggest not to "torture" methods until it confesses what you expect. In case of your situation, the coefficients are so small that no variations would lead to a different solution. The problem may be with your data. Please check them again (or collect more data). But if the dat...

Re: negative sample mean value

Obviously, your data has negative values. But this negative data is positively correlated with something else.

Re: Multigroup Analysis with 4 Groups (OTG)

Hi, you seem to interpret the Bonferroni correction correctly. You would the adjusted probability of error level for your assessment. In PLS-SEM a similar case is the confirmatory tetrad analysis. Here, to judge if a measurement model is reflective or formative, one needs to look at multiple tests p...

Re: Hypothesized Models in Published Research

Hi Ryan You may want to take a look at published PLS-SEM articles in high ranked journals, especially in your discipline. They may serve you as a blueprint. Here you find some PLS-SEM review studies across different disciplines that would be a good start: https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/liter...

Both questions require your theoretical reasoning based on prior publications. Hence, you need to conduct a literature review on brand equity constructs. A good start may be to search for the keywords "PLS" and "brand equity". For the discussion about formative and reflective, yo...

Re: Descriptive Analysis?

Hmmh, you may ask your supervisor for clarification. S/he may want you to do a moderator analysis or multigroup analysis using the age or the education variables, which would not be uncommon for a TAM model. Also, you may consider conducting an importance-performance map analysis (IPMA). Best regard...
