Re: Model with moderator variable

I am not sure if I understand your model setup. However, you can either use the moderator option (right click on the target construct) or run a multigroup analysis (model estimation per group, i.e., country). MICOM is useful in the latter case.

check the chapter on hoc here: https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/learn-pls-sem-and-smartpls/book-on-advanced-pls-sem-issues @1: no. you either use the repeated indicator approach or the two stage approach. @2: should have. @3: see above ref. @4: 2SLS in R, SPSS, Statistica, Stata Best Christian

Re: Smart PLS versus Binary Regression (SPSS)

When you use standardized data and the linear regression in SPSS, the results should match.

PLS requires metric data for the indicator. Where do you use binary data / why do you use binary regression?

Re: Continuous variable only indicator of latent variable

No, that's not possible. You need metric or quasi-metric indicator data.

Re: Determination of Bootstrapping subsamples

The more subsamples you use in bootstrapping the better. Use 5,000, for example.

Re: draw a complicated model

You can just draw the model and split your data into groups. Then, run group-specific PLS path model estimations.

Re: higher order model to simple model

If the lower order are reliable (e.g. Cronbach's alpha say > 0.8), that's what some researchers sometimes do: they run a factor analysis and, then use the reliables factors as indicators of a higher-order construct. However, why don't you use the repeated indicator approach instead? Kind regards Chr...

Re: Gender comparison of a sample -> alternating signs for i

Is privacy concern a second-order construct using the indicators of the lower order constructs? Then the problem is the coding of the lower order constructs with positive and negative signs. You should always use the same orientation of indicators (e.g., rescale the negative ones). An alternative: S...
