Acceptable GoF values

Dear all, For my models I have calculated the AIC, BIC, CAIC and EN. I have no clue however if the values In the first model the values are: AIC=8490, BIC=8722, CAIC=8722 and EN=0,432, in the second model they are: AIC=6669, BIC=6889, CAIC=6889 and EN=0,457. Are these values high, medium or low and ...

Hi Muyiwa,

You may wish to check your Java and (re)install Java 2 Standard-Edition Runtime Environment (J2SE JRE). You need version 5.0 or above, obtainable from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... index.html

Greetings, Dennis

Dear Christian,

Thank you for your help. The article certainly sets me on the good foot for a choice as to why PLS. I'll get the book from the library on Monday. It's available ;-)

SPSS or SEM

Hello,

In general, when should I use statistical analysis methods and under what conditions should I turn to Smart PLS or SEM? Where can I find this in the literature?

Thank you and a happy New Year to you all,
Dennis

PLS-PM convention on reporting

Hello, In various theses I noticed that it is the (apparent) convention to graphically report the outcomes of PLS-PM by arrows pointing from the latent variable to the dependent latent variable. Next to the arrow the path coefficient is reported with asterixes to indicate the significance. Further, ...

Thank you,
Dennis

Small, medium and large path coefficients

Hello, How can I determine if a path coefficient is small, medium or large? What citation (other than this forum :-) can I refer to? e.g.: I have a model of which a part is as follows A->X with path coefficient ,523 B->X with path coefficient ,324 X has R2 of ,608 X->Y with path coefficient ,292 B->...
