Re: Prediction-Oriented Segmentation in PLS-SEM (PLS-POS)
I'm currently working on segmenting my data and thus do 10 calculations for each segment number that seems reasonable. With reasonable I mean average R² over the segments (I check the average and the by segment size weighted average) and the share of segments that are above the minimum number of ca...

Prediction-Oriented Segmentation in PLS-SEM (PLS-POS)
I like to seek guidance on how to use the PLS-POS in SmartPLS 3.
Are there any papers published that show the exact detailed steps of using PLS-POS?
Please advise. Thank you.

Non-Response Bias
I like to double check if we can run the non-response bias (early versus late respondents) by using the PLS-MGA? That is, I divide into two groups of data: early versus late. Then after running PLS-MGA, I look under the p value column to see if less than 0.05 or more than 0.95 to determine significa...

Levene's Test: Test for Equality of Standard Errors
I refer to page 253 of the book... last 5 lines.
If resulting p value is lower than 0.05 or higher than 0.95, then we look at the values under Unequal Standard Errors Assumed (in the Excel PLS-MGA_Parametric.xlsx)?
Please advise. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.
Let's hope the next software upgrade will include this feature.

The VAF equals the "direct effect" divided by the total effect...
It should be "indirect effect".
Thank you.

How to generate predictive relevance q square values?
In SmartPLS 3, we can see the results of small f square.
However, is there a way to use SmartPLS 3 to generate results for small q square?
Thank you.

Re: Confirmatory Tetrad Analysis to assess constructs
In Table 4.10 below, it shows the significance tests for the non-redundant vanishing tetrads from a bootstrapping procedure. In a reflective measurement model, the vanishing tetrads should be non-significant, and the resulting p Values should be higher than 0.05. However, as shown in the last column...

Confirmatory Tetrad Analysis to assess constructs
1. How to use the SmartPLS to determine whether a construct should be formative or reflective? => Please show the detailed steps in SmartPLS. 2. Results from SmartPLS are different from what is shown in: Gudergan, S.P., Wende, S. & Will, A., 2008. Confirmatory tetrad analysis in PLS path modelin...

Most of the help available regarding tetrad analysis in the forum are prior to smartpls 3.
Can you please throw us some guidelines on tetrad analysis and interpretation using smartpls 3.
Thanking you

Re: how to include control variables
Hi, It's easy, you only have to connect the endogenous variables to control variables that want to be controlled. Examples of the journal can be seen below http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0959652614009664 To be clear, do you mean that we create a latent variable (to act as control...
