New rules for keeping formative indicators
Dear SmartPLS users and developers, Hope you are doing well. Can you comment and give answers to the points below. 1. Hair et al. (2013) and Cenfetelli and Bassellier (2009) proposed a rule regarding keeping formative indicators, which states that formative indicators with insignificant weights can ...

Mixed higher order constructs
Dear all, I have two second order constructs. Some of the first order constructs are reflective and others are formative. The relationship between all of the first order constructs and the second order construct is formative. Now if I want to use the repeated-indicator approach, which mode (A or B) ...

What about new developed constructs in PLS?
Dear all, I have an important and urgent question related to validating new constructs in the PLS context, and I really appreciated it if any one can assist me. Please provide me your comments and answers to my questions. Your assistance is highly appreciated. I have read a lot about (1) exploratory...

Re: Please help with the inconsistent conclusins of POS-PLS
Dear Dr. Becker, Thanks for your response. If I take the FIMIX output which indicates a two segment solution as a reliable result, and use it as an input when running the POS-PLS (i.e., determining a two segments choice prior to running the POS-PLS). My problem is with results of POS-PLS. In particu...

Re: Please help with the inconsistent conclusins of POS-PLS
Dear Dr. Becker, Thank you for your response. I understand your point about the permutation test. In relation to POS, what is best action to investigate unobserved heterogeneity? Given that the FIMIX suggested a two segments solution with a segment's size being 28.2% for the first segment and 61.8% ...

Re: Please help with the inconsistent conclusins of POS-PLS
Please note that although FIMIX suggested the two segments solution, the size of the second segment is relatively lower than the minimum required sample size for my model (28.2% of the sample size (n=200), which equals 56 cases).

Please help with the inconsistent conclusins of POS-PLS
Dear SmartPLS team, I used the FIMIX as a first step to determine the number of segments in my data, and all the fit indices as well as the EN indicate that I have two segments in my data (I compared the one segment versus the two segment solutions only, and I did not try more than two segments beca...

COMPOSITES vs COMMON FACTORS, MICOM?
Hi all, I have read the paper "Testing Measurement Invariance of Composites Using Partial Least Squares". Also, I have consulted other related papers (Henseler et al. 2016) and (Rigdon, 2012). Regarding the issue related to the composites and factors, what I understood from the paper "...
