1. Rightclick on the project an choose "Remove Resource"
2. This is not possible right now. Please do not perform direct changes in the file system. All resource operations should be handled by the SmartPLS application!

The in-place editor for the variable names is activated by two consecutive mouse-clicks, not by a double click. The difference is simply the time span between the two clicks. So left-click the variable you want to rename, then wait 1 or 2 seconds and left-click again. The editor should appear.

GDI+ is required to run SmartPLS. It's included in Windows XP but not in Windows 2000. Please read viewtopic.php?t=33, download and install the GDI+ package.

This feature still exists but unfortunately it is not included in the current distribution. It wasn't intended to exclude it - that was a mistake.

Thank you Jörg, that is an important point! SmartPLS 2.0 places all your projects in a so called "workspace". The workspace folder is located within the SmartPLS program folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\SmartPLS2\workspace). SmartPLS needs full access to this folder since it stores a lot of r...

That is strange. Normally the windows installer should create an entry in the start menu as well as a shortcut on the desktop. Does anyone else have this problem?

SmartPLS tries to determine the csv delimiter automatically. If this process fails, you can configure this setting manually by: 1. Double click the erroneous data file in the SmartPLS project explorer. 2. Choose the csv delimiter in the appearing editor. 3. Check your choice by pushing the "val...

The activation of SmartPLS is user dependant. If you log in as user X and activate the software, this activation is performed for user X. If you then log in as user Y, the software can not be launched. With the received key you can only activate the software for one single user on one single machine .

Yes and no

Regarding the calculation outcomes that are generated by SmartPLS and PLS Graph, there are no differences between these applications. The major difference between SmartPLS and PLS Graph lies in the software architecture. SmartPLS is built upon a state of the art Java architecture that has been desig...

Such restrictions of the segment specific relationships in the structural model might help to receive an appropriate FIMIX-PLS segmentation. I think it's possible to implement this capability in the next SmartPLS version.
