Re: HTMT discriminant validity
Well, we are not so great fans of higher order models but addressed this issue in the advanced PLS-SEM book, Chapter 2: https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/learn-pls-sem-and-smartpls/book-on-advanced-pls-sem-issues "In the next step, you can assess the discriminant validity between the LOCs ...

Re: SmartPLS vs SAS PROC PLS
We have no experience with SAS PROC PLS (i.e., we do not use SAS). Isn't it a PLS regression analysis tool (which differs from PLS-SEM technically). Please check the SAS.

Re: Effect size f-square and q-square
I don't fully understand the description of your model. Anyways, if you only have one explanatory for an endogenous latent variable, the q² computation does not work - or you could say that Q²_excluded is 0 and, then, plug in the value of Q²_included and 0 for Q² excluded into the equation: q² = (Q²...

Re: Making use of multiple kernels
Thanks. We the performance should be much better with the latest release. However, PLS-POS is computationally intensive. You may combine FIMIX-PLS and PLS-POS: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.10 ... -64069-3_9

Re: Blindfolding in SmartPLS 3
We have no idea how Blindfolding has been implemented in PLS-Graph and cannot comment on this issue. In SmartPLS, the procedure has been implemented as described in the literature. You may run a little Excel example to check for yourself.

Hmmh, this sounds strange. Do you also get these results with the latest SmartPLS release? https://www.smartpls.com/downloads

Yes, it is. The SmartPLS provides the indirect effects that you need to conduct the mediations analysis as explained in the bool by Hair et al. (2017): https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/ ... s-sem-book

This is not a specific PLS-SEM problem. Just search the general literature on generating survey data and their quality assessment. E.g.: https://www.greenbook.org/marketing-res ... ponse-bias
