Re: Effects of moderator is not showing properly

For exogenous LVs (those without incoming paths) like your PU there is no R² to calculate because there are no predictors.

I don't know what you are displaying on the paths, but maybe looking into the more detailed result report will help you.

Re: PLS research

In SmartPLS you can use the Gaussian copula approach to address endogeneity concerns: https://www.smartpls.com/documentation/algorithms-and-techniques/gaussian-copula/ A further interesting research is also Hult, G. T. M., Hair, J. F., Proksch, D., Sarstedt, M., Pinkwart, A., and Ringle, C. M. (2018...

Re: PLS

First, SmartPLS offers different types of algorithms: PLS, PLSc, CB-SEM, Regression, etc. Even though the PLS algorithm is the most prominent (and has given the software the name), you can also do CB-SEM (like in AMOS). Second, the question about whether you want to use CB-SEM or PLS is not about sa...

Re: HTMT Higher order construct

Fornell Larker criterion is outdated and most reviewers will request HTMT criterion to assess discriminant validity.

Re: Can't Export Report to Excell

With technical issues it is best to contact the SmartPLS support: https://www.smartpls.com/support

But you should provide some more information on the problem so that they can help you.

Re: HTMT Higher order construct

If you follow the disjoint two-stage approach that is nowadays usually recommended there are no problems with manual calculation. If you choose to follow some repeated-indicator approach, you have to do it manually. Becker, J.-M., Cheah, J.-H., Gholamzade, R., Ringle, C.M. and Sarstedt, M. (2023), &...

Re: CONFIDENCE INTERVALS FOR MEDIATED PROPORTIONS

The metric is only useful if you have a complementary mediation. Only if the total effect is always larger than the indirect effect, it will give a proportion. This is only the case if the direct effect equals indirect effect in sign (for all bootstrap samples). Example: direct indirect total indire...

Re: Measurement Invariance for MGA not necessary?!

With response styles, I mean how respondents react to the measurement instrument. You want respondents to show differences in the conceptual variable of interest and their relationships. However, what you do not want is that people in the treatment group, for example, show higher likelihood of using...

Re: Measurement Invariance for MGA not necessary?!

That is a good question. In general, I think it would be necessary to show partial measurement invariance also for such research designs, because the treatment could cause changes in response styles or interpretation of the measures instead of actual differences in the conceptual variables and their...

Re: Which one is my Beta value, standard error?

In the bootstrapping the original sample estimate is the beta from the original model. The standard deviation of the bootstrap distribution is the estimated standard error of the parameter. Accordingly, you may calculate t values from dividing the original estimate (the beta) by the standard deviati...

Re: Subtraction of two latent variables

You can use the latent variable scores from the PLS algorithm estimation to calculate your difference score. However, there is quite some body of literature showing that difference scores are suboptimal and quite constrained and that you can actually better model the variables separately. This has n...

Re: CONFIDENCE INTERVALS FOR MEDIATED PROPORTIONS

In the main menu of SmartPLS you find the "Preferences" and there you can set how many decimals you want to display in the reports.
