I found a rule of thumb that suggested a sample size of 10 times either the largest number of formative indicators of a LV, or the largest number of paths leading to a LV, whichever is the larger.

Normalization of LVs

I'm sure this is a silly question, but I can't find the answer to it anywhere. How are the LVs normalized in SmartPLS? To have a standard deviation of 1?
