Re: mode a - formative constructs
Hi there, We've use the A mode with a IV type multidimensional construct here. This paper is now on an advanced round of a top journal in IS and the 3rd coauthor is now Jörg Henseler. You can read/use it and cite it as follows: Benitez, J., and Ray, G. 2012. Introducing IT-enabled business flexibili...

Endogeneity
Hi,
I need to check for endogeneity to move forward a paper in a top journal in information systems. We're using PLS. Do you know some prior research checking for endogeneity using PLS (or PLS + other technique/software)? Thanks much.
Cheers,
Jose Benitez-Amado

Re: Testing for endogeneity?
Hi everyone,
Have you got any progress in the test for endogeneity? I look forward to get some advance/help on this issue. Thanks much.

t-statistic and P-value
Dear colleague,
In order to estimate the p-value in Excel, should I use the t-statistic from the section "Outer Model T-Statistic" or from the section "Outer Weights (Mean, STDEV, T-Values)" of the Bootstrapping report?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
- Jose

The repeated indicators approach
Dear Bido, Oh my God! So, what limitations would does my research have if I use the repeated indicators approach with exogenous and endogenous 2nd-order LVs (reflective in all cases)? If the exogenous 2nd-order LVs are reflective and I use an endogenous 1st-order LV (reflective as well), is a causal...

Reflective 2nd-order models & PLS path modeling
Dear colleague,
Do you know any management information systems or strategy paper that uses a reflective 2nd-order model with the PLS path modeling technique?
I really appreciate your help.
Best,
- JB

PLS & 2nd-order models
Dear Prof. Wilson, Great! I would like to know your opinion about this: Could I justify the use of PLS path modeling with a reflective 2nd-order constructs model in a leding journal? Could I use to do it your recommended references? How do I get them? Thank you in advance for yor attention. Best, - JB

To estimate a PLS model with 2nd-order LVs
Hi Bido, Thanks again for the answer. Could you explain me the following statement please [If you want to use the formative 2nd order LV as endogenous, you shoud compute the scores of 1st order LVs and use these scores as indicators for the 2nd order LV] How do I get the scores computation? calculat...

To estimate a PLS model with second-order constructs
Hi Bido,
Thank you for the answer. Can I use the hierarchical component model (Wold, 1982) with formative constructs?
Thank you in advance.
Best,
- JB

To estimate a PLS model with second-order constructs
Hello!
I am trying to estimate a PLS model with second-order constructs but I could not do it. It appears the following message: "errors: This latent variable has no indicators." Could you help me please?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
- JB
