Please try this:
1) Uninstall SmartPLS
2) Delete the folder at c:/users/username/.smartpls3
3) Download latest SmartPLS from https://www.smartpls.com
4) Install SmartPLS

SmartPLS (especially the latest release 3.2.8) should be compatible mit Mac OSX 10.14 Mojave. Until today we heard of no problems.

The most common problem on a Mac is that you did not install the Java runtime that we provide for download on http://www.smartpls.com/downloads

Please try to unpack to another directory. Its not a good idea to put it under c:/Windows/System32 ... instead put it to C:/Program Files .... or if you like to your Desktop.

The smartpls.ini file on Mac OSX can be located when you go to Programs/SmartPLS and call the "Show package contents" action from the context menu. Then navigate down to > Contents > MacOS.

This is not correct. To be precise. There are 2 different "operation modes" of the software - Student and Professional . Exports are only possible in the Professional mode. The 30-days-free-trial for the Professional mode has all features enabled, including all export options (Excel, HTML....

There is a minor bug in version 3.2.1 of SmartPLS that will cause this problem if the first column in a data file contains only text but no numeric values.
Will be fixed with release 3.2.2 soon.
Workaround: Remove that column or move it to last position in the CSV file.

Please make sure you also installed the SmartPLS 64-bit version. The most common reason behind this problem is, you are trying to run/install different bit versions - e.g. a 32-bit SmartPLS with a 64-bit Java.
