Maybe use subgroup analysis first

... why not first consider a subgroup analysis to identify which control variables are really relevant, and then to run PLS a second time adding only those controls that showed a significant effect in the subgroup analysis?

Eggert citation

This citation stem from a PLS handbook, unfortunately in German. Eggert, A., Fassott, G. and Helm, S. (2005): Identifizierung und Quantifizierung mediierender und moderierender Effekte in komplexen Kausalstrukturen, in: Bliemel, F., et al. For formative constructs: multiply construct scores

Eggert et al. {, 2005 #1122, p. 108} argue that for formative indicators, the pairwise multiplication of indicators is not possible. Product items between two sets of formative items will not necessarily show the same underlying interaction effect because formative indicators do not reflect their un...

Dear Russ, many thanks for your help. Your recommendation intuitively makes sense to me. Do you know whether I can also quote this approach from some article? Best, Dirk

How to implement repeated manifest variable method in sPLS?

... just for clarification: Does that mean for example that my two 1st-order LVs (each formatively measured by two sets of indicators) have only paths towards a 2nd-order LV (that is simultaneously formatively measured by the combined set of the same indicators) that in turn has paths towards endoge...

Hi Christian, many thanks for your two upfront xls spreadsheets, I just need some help on their exact interpretation. Is the blindfolded cross-validated communality the same as the Stone Geisser Test Criterion? And if so, what is then the meaning of the blindfolded cross-validated redundancy test? M...

Download error

Whenever I try to download the Windows-Version (zipped or automatic), the following error pops up: "The page you requested could not be found (Error 404)". Is this error on my side or is there anything you could do about it?

Many thanks!
