Dear Christian, Thank you for a great explaination My questions are: 1. How many omission distance needs for running BF 2. I got a big number on TOTAL for every cases, it really more than 0 "Cross-validated R-square (i.e., Stone-Geisser’s Q2) between each endogenous latent variable and its own ...

Hi Christian,

No.

I'm using a standard scheme.

I try to validate

moderator: gender, age
for testing MALE, YOUNGER vs FEMALE, YOUNGER

Using a select case in original data is Ok now
Beside, I will also try another scheme.

Thanks

Hi Christian, I mean that, It's OK for me to split the data into two groups, for example 49% (Male) and 51% (Female) according to GENDER column in the CSV data. However, the rest of other variables will also divided by using 'filter' in MS Excel. I understand that only GENDER should be in the model,...

Hi Christian,

Ok for splitting into 2 groups : male (1) and female (2).
What about other indicators across LVs corresponded to male and female?

For that, you need an another approach (two-stage approach). How to do it, you can see in the following articel on page 86 ff.: Henseler, J./Chin, W. (2010): A Comparison of Approaches for the Analysis of Interaction Effects Between Latent Variables Using Partial Least Squares Path Modeling, in: St...

this variable should not longer be a part in your model. In this variable are only 1 or 0 and therefore you get an error message.
Sorry Christian, I could not understand. I try to read Markus' paper in the Handbook of PLS.

Hi Christian, I have the same problem with Larissa, when splitting the data into male=1 and female=2, I have 250 rows, and after splitting into that gender group, the smartPLS prompted that the case is not sufficient. I have 69% of male and 31% of female, out of 250 responses Could you please briefl...

Hi, Do you mean this f square (the effect size): http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4460/fsquare.png I got the negative value due to the R square (with moderator) is bigger than R square (without moderator) the result: http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/9838/f2square.png Agreed with Christian and this...

Dear Prof. Bido,

Thanks.

I try to convert from 5 scales to 7 scales , using the formula/previous work done in that paper. Just for an experiment.

Thanks again

Dear Prof. Bido, Many thanks for your advice. I'm really appreciating it. Yes, just realized that the t-value calculated as the same t statistics from Z population, according to basic statistics. t= sample/S.E How to calculate p-value? from coeff. table? How about degree of freedom?, I found it via ...

5,7,10 likert scale

Hi Everyone, Are there any differences in terms of outer loadings (measurement model) across 5,7 or 10 likert scales?. Outer/items loading is the first test for accessing construct reliability (e.g. Convergent validity) to ensure that each measurement item correlate strongly with its assumed theoret...

Table of contents from bootstrapping re-sampling

Hi Everyone, I would like to assess the structural model via path coefficients. The bootstrap re-sampling technique (Chin,1998) was used by 500 iterations of the original 248 samples. After finished the BT analysis, I got the HTML Report as below: http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/2622/toc.png My Q...
