Dear Hengky,

Appreciated a lot for your prompt response. The method proposed make it very easy for me to compute the partial effect size. Is this consistent with multiple regression? Would you suggest me some references for this formula?

Best regards,
Derwin.

Partial Effect Size

Dear Friends of PLS, SmartPLS reports the total amount of variance explained in a latent factor by other exogenous factors. Is it possible to compute the proportion of variance explained independently for each exogenous factor? For example, there are 4 exogenous latent factors (i.e., A, B, C, and D)...

Statistical power versus sample size

Dear friends of PLS, When doing SEM analysis in small sample, researchers would definitely look at 2 things: 1. sample size, and statistical power. For covariance-based SEM, it's not too difficult to compute the statistical power or required sample size based on the model fit (e.g., 90% confidence i...

Indirect effects of multiple mediators

Dear PLS users, I am trying to perform a mediation analysis which involves 1 IV, 1 DV, and 3 mediators. I am quite familiar with the 4 steps approach by Baron and Kenny (1986), but I found it quite difficult to calculate the indirect effects through each mediators using PLS. Please advise. Many than...
